About the Berryessa Education Foundation

The foundation was formed in 1992 as a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation under the leadership of San Jose Mayor, Chuck Reed. Since then, BEF has contributed over $300,000 to teachers in the Berryessa Union School District to support new, and creative approaches and opportunities for student success.​
